We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Admissions to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the admissions process, developing and implementing recruitment strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and enroll a diverse class of students
- Manage the admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making admission decisions
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and events
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, including responding to inquiries and providing information about the admissions process
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in admissions and recruitment
- Masters degree in Higher Education or a related field and 2 years of experience in admissions and recruitment, or a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Knowledge of admissions and recruitment software and systems
- JD or a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience in law school or undergraduate admissions, student affairs, or a related field
- Experience working with international students and with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
