Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in collaborating with our esteemed Design-Build group, focusing on the design, estimation, and construction of comprehensive facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and engineers to develop and refine construction plans and specifications.
  • Ensure the selection of appropriate materials and conduct thorough reviews of subcontractor submissions to align with design specifications.
  • Perform detailed assessments of architectural, civil, and structural components to inform project budgeting and pricing strategies.
  • Assist in the prequalification and bidding processes for various scopes of work.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project management in securing necessary approvals from local regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee and evaluate the work of subcontractors to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural or architectural design is essential.
  • Proven experience in the design and construction of specialized facilities.
  • Possession of an Architect's license in the relevant jurisdiction is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive bid packages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in managing subcontractor relationships.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in remote interactions.
