Job Overview

As a Structured Cabling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep, functionality, and oversight of the cabling infrastructure and associated systems.

Your responsibilities will encompass diagnosing and resolving hardware and network complications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install various security access systems.
  • Set up cable management systems (including trays, racks, J-hooks, or D-rings).
  • Implement structured cabling solutions in industrial and commercial environments.
  • Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontal, backbone, and other cabling types.
  • Organize and route cables within closets and control rooms.
  • Carry out additional tasks as needed.
  • Ensure proper fire stopping for various cable penetrations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, crouch, or crawl in challenging positions.
  • Capable of safely lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Must tolerate extreme hot and cold conditions.
  • Experience with structured cabling systems.
