Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of Stak's traditional office, event, and coworking spaces.
  • Drive sales of memberships, offices, event space, meeting rooms, and lead traditional corporate leases. Collaborate with the broker community to optimize leasing strategies.
  • Build and lead a sales team actively selling packages for conferences, events, office, entertainment, sponsorship, leasing, and memberships.
  • Lead all marketing, digital/internet marketing, and in-app activities for the Office and Coworking.
  • Monitor and maximize the sales pipeline.
  • Strategize for maximum occupancy and set sales goals.
  • Create and provide exceptional concierge customer service. Conduct tours and manage follow-ups through the CRM system. Respond to incoming emails and in-person inquiries promptly.
  • Master and utilize coworking software systems.
  • Ensure a clean, welcoming, and professional workspace.
  • Analyze space utilization trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Drive insights from the team to influence mobile app innovation and assist the software engineering team in building new features across our ecosystem.
  • Work with our software team to integrate AI and other technologies to improve operational efficiency and member experience.
  • Generate relationships that will serve the tech community, particularly big tech, AI, venture capital, and their portfolio companies in the Bay Area.
  • Monitor website and social media effectiveness as sales/marketing tools.
  • Collaborate with Property staff to maintain brand consistency online.
Community Building & Hospitality:
  • Foster a thriving community of members and guests.
  • Develop relationships with members, addressing and prioritizing their needs.
  • Facilitate connections among members and organize relevant introductions.
  • Plan and host events to enhance community interaction.
  • Lead all community building and hospitality initiatives.
  • Leverage social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to scale community engagement.
Finance & Reporting:
  • Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly reports covering: (1) Sales of desks, offices, and meeting rooms, (2) Occupancy rates, (3) Financial performance for the accounting team, (4) Membership growth trends, (5) Customer feedback and improvement analysis, and (6) Technology updates and troubleshooting.
Personnel Management:
  • Build, lead, and develop a team to achieve community, sales, and facility goals.
  • Oversee professional development of team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align on key initiatives and performance goals.
  • Hold weekly one-on-one meetings to review individual tasks and progress.
  • Lead performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 4-6 years of increasing responsibility in coworking or hospitality management.
  • Proven experience with AI or other technologies to improve operations.
  • Willing to live and work on-site at the 1900 Broadway Stak Site.
  • Entrepreneurial background with a history of successful ventures.
  • Superior working knowledge of big tech, AI, venture capital industries, their HR and space needs.
  • Ability to sell Stak's offerings directly to the target market.
  • Empathetic, extroverted, and skilled at working with people.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and professionally sharp.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passionate about the Bay Area and its entrepreneurial community.
  • Preferred experience in hospitality, operations management, and customer service.
  • Preferred experience working for brokers, real estate developers, or internally at Big Tech or VC on workplace initiatives.
  • Legally authorized to work in California.
