Role Summary

As the Pharmacy Operations Leader, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality, accessible, and affordable pharmaceutical care to our patients. This position involves overseeing daily operations, leading the pharmacy team, and ensuring alignment with our mission to provide affordable healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance Patient Care: Ensure timely and quality pharmaceutical services while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the pharmacy team to develop and optimize workflows for efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement strategies to enhance pharmacy operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee pharmacy personnel, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Incident Management: Address pharmacy-related incidents, providing training and implementing safety measures.
  • Program Implementation: Launch and manage new pharmacy programs to improve service delivery.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff to maintain a high-functioning team.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor department financial performance and manage inventory effectively.
  • Clinical Duties: Perform clinical pharmacist responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Education and Experience

Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of one year of experience as a staff pharmacist is required. A valid pharmacist license is necessary.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform light work, including lifting up to 25 pounds and regular travel between sites as needed.

Work Environment

Flexibility to travel to various locations as part of job responsibilities.
