Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Leader to manage the activities at one of our prominent manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of functions including financial management, technical operations, and resource allocation to ensure the facility meets the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a facility with over 500 employees, including management of salaried personnel.
  • Manage all financial responsibilities of the facility, including the development of the Annual Operating Plan and capital expenditures.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, environmental health, and safety regulations.
  • Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement, including methodologies such as Lean and Kaizen.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and establish objectives for team members.
  • Facilitate the enhancement of processes and capabilities within the manufacturing environment.
  • Uphold high standards in meeting both employee and customer expectations.
  • Align operations with safety, environmental, quality, productivity, and performance benchmarks.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years in business and managerial roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in various management positions with an emphasis on safety and Lean methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO and TS Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, leadership, and resource management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to achieve and sustain results through effective leadership.
