Pulmonary Care LPN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pulmonary Care team at Cone Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
  • Process recommendations from healthcare providers, such as medication orders, referrals, and diagnostic tests, to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
  • Provide patient education and support by explaining treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient documentation, managing medical supplies, and assisting with medical billing and insurance claims.
  • Support medical professionals during appointments and clinic visits, providing crucial patient history information to best treat the patient.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and Diploma Practical Nursing
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure: Successfully pass NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintain a current and continuous unrestricted LPN License
  • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
