About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at ASC Engineered Solutions. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in EHS, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
