EHS Training Specialist
OneSource EHS LLC is collaborating with a prominent organization in the specialty materials sector to recruit an EHS Training Specialist.

In this position, you will be tasked with the creation, development, and execution of educational programs centered on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices, particularly focusing on maintenance and reliability operations.

Your role will involve close cooperation with subject matter experts, EHS professionals, and maintenance personnel to improve safety, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement EHS training programs specifically for maintenance and reliability teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Develop learning objectives, instructional materials, and training resources to support training initiatives within the facility.
  • Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to craft engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Conduct training sessions through various formats, including in-person classes, hands-on workshops, virtual training, and webinars.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to maintenance and reliability teams regarding EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Work alongside EHS leaders and maintenance managers to identify training needs and create targeted educational solutions.
  • Assist in the rollout of EHS programs and initiatives to foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical processing industry, or 3 years in a role such as Learning Facilitator, Training Coordinator, or a similar position within a chemical manufacturing setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
