Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Manager to join our Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team at Exelixis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing strategic sourcing initiatives, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and building strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize spend, maximize relationships, and minimize risk
  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiation of contracts, pricing, and payment terms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities and develop solutions
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions
  • Develop and maintain procurement processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in procurement, including experience with contract negotiation, vendor management, and procurement process development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities
