Position Overview:
We are seeking an Engineer I to contribute to our engineering efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering principles to design and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Utilize CAD/CAM systems to create 3D models, 2D drawings, and cutter paths.
- Ensure accurate technical documentation for products and processes is maintained.
- Work collaboratively with sales and manufacturing teams to meet design specifications.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, providing insights to boost efficiency.
- Assess processes, deliver cost information, and recommend enhancements.
- Support the development and optimization of production methods.
- Gather and analyze data to identify discrepancies in processes.
- Provide training on equipment and process operations.
- Prepare and present analytical reports using data analysis tools.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience (4 years).
Skills & Competencies:
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in CAD, SPC programs, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and materials.
Understanding of machining processes and related technologies.
Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
