Job Overview

Position Summary
The Integrated Treatment Specialist collaborates with a diverse team to support individuals diagnosed with concurrent mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized therapy, group sessions, and family support for clients facing dual diagnoses.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for each individual entering Integrated Treatment services.
  • Engage in proactive outreach, providing practical support and connecting clients with relevant community resources to foster trust.
  • Assist clients in setting objectives, strategizing actions, and gaining self-awareness.
  • Encourage exploration of emotions and experiences among clients.
  • Facilitate therapeutic processes tailored to individual needs.
  • Educate clients on recognizing early warning signs and managing their symptoms effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to address challenges and maintain a unified treatment strategy.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between programs for uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Guide and collaborate with colleagues on clinical interventions and crisis management.
  • Maintain regular communication with peer specialists, care coordinators, supervisors, nurses, and physicians.
  • Work with individuals, groups, and communities to enhance behavioral health outcomes.
  • Actively engage in team discussions and meetings.
  • Adopt a holistic perspective in delivering behavioral health care.
  • Complete all required documentation promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
  • Education - A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related health discipline is required.
  • Skills/Abilities - Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Professional Certification - A valid clinical practice license, such as LPC or LCSW, is mandatory.
Work Environment

General Conditions - The role is primarily conducted in office settings, involving phone communication and computer usage, as well as in client residences where exposure to smoking and pets may occur. No special conditions are anticipated.

Physical Requirements

General Conditions - Job responsibilities may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Travel may be necessary, with some trips requiring extended hours in a vehicle. Minor lifting and moving tasks may be expected, necessitating the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
