RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Family Therapist I-II implements the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model in their practice, which includes ongoing consultation with FFT LLC and the treatment team. This evidence-based model is delivered in-home and offers flexible scheduling. The therapist engages with clients and families in a responsive manner, maintaining a strength-based relational focus. The role requires autonomy and strong management skills while adapting to changing circumstances. The FFT Therapist I-II utilizes the CSS system for service documentation and treatment planning in accordance with the FFT model, as well as other necessary systems for managing confidential client information. Quality service is assured by addressing the core issues within the family that led to the referral. Maintaining agency credibility is essential, achieved through establishing positive working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related service agencies through effective communication. The FFT Therapist I-II also promotes the agency by ensuring awareness of available program services, publicizing activities and achievements, and adhering to a professional code of ethics. Continuous professional development is encouraged through participation in workshops, reviewing professional literature, and building personal networks. The maximum caseload is 12 families, primarily serving the Jackson County Missouri area.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This role requires a Bachelor's degree and professional licensure (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LSCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess creativity, flexibility, a high level of integrity, the ability to work independently, and excellent time management skills. A background check, physical examination, and drug screening are mandatory. A valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance are also required.

BONUS:
A sign-on bonus of $2500 is offered, with $1000 paid on the first paycheck and the remaining $1500 after 12 months of service.
