Job Summary

">

The successful candidate will oversee the program management of federal grant deliverables, providing support to the State/Regional Coordinator in hosting state conferences, preparing professional learning opportunities, and guiding teacher leaders through in-person and virtual trainings. This role requires exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and strength of conviction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the program management of federal grant deliverables, including building and implementing a grant workplan and liaising with the national office, State/Regional Coordinator, grant partners, and participating school sites.">
  • Support the State/Regional Coordinator in hosting one official state conference, featuring competitive events, networking, and professional learning opportunities.">
  • Prepare and facilitate professional learning for teacher leaders through in-person and virtual trainings, professional learning communities, and consultative sessions.">
  • Support fundraising efforts to scale out the grant program and build long-term infrastructure.">
  • Provide guidance and support for students as they complete work-based learning in alignment with state programs.">
  • Create and manage supports for student work-based learning, including near-peer mentoring and mentor teachers, as well as curating mental health resources.">
  • Build partnerships with schools to establish Educators Rising chapters and recruit students to expand the grant over time.">
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to promote student completion of educator pathways leading to paraprofessional licensure.">
  • Expand existing partnerships between high schools and local institutes of higher education to offer work-based learning opportunities.">
  • Travel across the state to conduct site visits and support professional learning in support of grant activities.">
  • Track and report data to the national office to monitor participation, progress, and program evaluation.">
  • Maintain regular communications with participating Educators Rising teacher leaders.">
  • Attend virtual monthly state coordinator meetings and participate in regular check-ins with the national office.">
  • Attend the annual Educators Rising Maryland State Conference and National Conference as a state representative.">

Requirements

">

To be considered for this role, you must reside in Maryland and possess the ability to develop relationships with school leaders and local funders. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in K12 education, preferably with CTE experience. They should also demonstrate exceptional emotional intelligence, compassion, and self-awareness, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and strength of conviction.

Compensation and Benefits

">

Educators Rising offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience, as well as a generous 403(b), vacation, and health benefits package.
