This role necessitates a high level of security clearance and a comprehensive understanding of the intricate nature of DoD operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute ongoing process enhancement initiatives tailored to the requirements of DoD operations and readiness.
  • Perform thorough analyses of business processes, including identifying gaps, benchmarking against best practices within the DoD, and conducting organizational evaluations.
  • Craft future-oriented processes aimed at improving operational readiness while ensuring adherence to DoD standards and protocols.
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders within the Pentagon and other DoD organizations to facilitate the effective integration of process improvements.
  • Supervise quality assurance programs to guarantee compliance with DoD policies, performance metrics, and standards.
  • Offer expert guidance on adherence to DoD regulations and agency protocols.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to determine system requirements that align with DoD operational objectives.
  • Interact with clients and deliver presentations to senior DoD officials and stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions on process improvement techniques pertinent to DoD readiness.

Qualifications

Essential Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree coupled with fourteen (14) years of experience in systems engineering and product development.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Eligibility for an interim Secret clearance with the capability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 14 years of experience within the DoD or operations, emphasizing process enhancement and operational readiness.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD regulations, policies, and compliance standards.
  • A proven history of spearheading organizational change and executing process improvements in a DoD context.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior DoD officials.
  • Capability to conduct complex analyses and propose innovative solutions to further DoD readiness objectives.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not mandate COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Compliance with customer site vaccination requirements is necessary when working at a customer location.
