Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Lead Packaging Systems Engineer who is team-oriented, innovative, and results-driven, eager to contribute to our clients' achievements while seeking new learning opportunities and career advancement.

This role will involve leading projects aimed at enhancing existing packaging systems and integrating new solutions for our clients. You will engage in all stages of the project execution cycle, from initial concept to final execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and data analysis of existing packaging systems.
  • Develop solutions and manage documentation updates.
  • Scope, estimate, and schedule new packaging systems.
  • Oversee design development, installation, and on-site commissioning.
  • Perform performance testing and manage documentation.

Your primary objectives will include presenting proposals and information to both internal and external stakeholders, as well as mentoring and guiding other engineers and designers.

Regular travel to various locations will be necessary, averaging around 30% annually.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the design and/or integration of food and beverage systems.
  • Experience in capital project execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in packaging systems design, including various conveyor types and ancillary equipment.
  • 5+ years of experience in the beverage industry, particularly with high-speed container handling.
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with balanced line flow for packaging systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Professional Engineer registration or the ability to obtain it.
