Job Summary:

Cedar Fair is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, production, and labor control.
  • Optimize profits by controlling food costs, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
  • Develop and implement plans to increase sales through food quality, speed of service, and accurate food preparation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, development, and performance evaluation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Monitor and analyze kitchen performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Cedar Fair's policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and EEO policies.

Requirements:

  • College or culinary training, or extensive cooking production experience.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, per Company policy.
  • ServSafe certification.
