About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Customer Research Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for driving insights that shape our future product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Strategic Research Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define research objectives, methodologies, and sampling strategies.
  • Partner with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, marketers, and senior leadership to understand their business objectives and craft tailored research plans.
  • Analyze and Interpret Data: Analyze diverse data sets and extract insights to foster strategic guidance and inform product strategy, positioning, and marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate Insights: Craft compelling narratives that distill complex insights and strategic guidance to socialize research findings and recommendations.
  • Design and Implement Research Instruments: Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research instruments, including surveys, discussion guides, and data analysis frameworks.
  • Build Research Partnerships: Build a best-in-class ecosystem of research partners to support research initiatives.

Requirements
  • 7+ Years of Experience: Market research and analytics experience, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, exceptional storytelling and communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and excellent project management skills.
