Job Description

Microsoft Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable and secure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code that ensures the stability and security of our cloud services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service quality, availability, and reliability
  • Participate in live-site and customer support to ensure customers have a great experience
  • Contribute to the development of new features and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers
Requirements
  • 6+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures like Azure or AWS and open-source tools and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented languages like Java or C# and related frameworks
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • Experience with networking (IPV4, IPV6, DNS) and critical service availability, disaster recovery, monitors, and alerting
  • Experience with building highly scalable services and passion for innovation
Benefits

Microsoft offers a competitive salary range of $117,200 - $229,200 per year, with a different range applicable to specific work locations. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Find additional benefits and pay information here.
