At Microsoft Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure service availability and performance
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24x7 service availability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures like Azure or AWS and open-source tools and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented languages and related frameworks
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • Experience with networking (IPV4, IPV6, DNS) and critical service availability
  • Experience with building highly scalable services and passion for innovation
