POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Partner specializing in Audit for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction sectors, you will lead and manage audit engagements for clients within the AEC group. Your expertise in finance, industry insight, and leadership abilities will be crucial in delivering superior audit services. This role necessitates collaboration with diverse teams, effective communication with clients, and an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and oversee audit engagements for AEC clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulations.
  • Review audit work papers, financial statements, and related documentation.
  • Develop and maintain robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor in financial matters.
  • Gain insights into clients' business goals and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Guide and mentor audit teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services.
  • Collaborate with other partners and managers to promote a cooperative and efficient work environment.
  • Identify and evaluate risks associated with AEC engagements, formulating strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Engage in business development initiatives, including client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Spot opportunities for expanding services to current clients and pursuing new business within the AEC sector.
  • Maintain a commitment to quality and excellence in audit service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of audit work papers and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification.

Experience:

  • Over 12 years of extensive auditing experience, particularly with AEC clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $250,000 to $500,000+, depending on individual experience.
