Position Overview:
SIE is seeking multiple Senior Rail Construction Engineers to contribute to various MTA C&D transit construction initiatives. This role encompasses construction management responsibilities, ensuring quality control, adherence to schedules, and overall client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multidisciplinary rail construction projects
- Conduct inspections, monitoring, and supervision of construction field activities
- Review contractor schedules and manage payment processes
- Perform constructability reviews
- Coordinate efforts with MTA and other involved stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in rail construction projects, including stations, line structures, communication systems, and track work
- Familiarity with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
- Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic
- Certifications: OSHA 30, PMG123 Training, and NYCT Track Training
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
