POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Partner in Audit focusing on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction sectors, you will lead and manage audit engagements for clients within the AEC group. Your financial expertise, industry insight, and leadership capabilities will be essential in delivering top-tier audit services. This role involves collaboration with diverse teams, effective communication with clients, and staying informed about industry developments and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and oversee audit engagements for AEC clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulations.
  • Review audit work papers, financial statements, and related documentation.
  • Build and maintain robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
  • Understand clients' business goals and provide strategic insights to enhance financial performance.
  • Guide and mentor audit teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional services.
  • Collaborate with fellow partners and managers to create a cooperative and efficient work environment.
  • Identify and evaluate risks associated with AEC engagements, developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
  • Engage in business development activities, including client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Spot opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and pursuing new business within the AEC group.
  • Maintain a commitment to quality and excellence in audit services.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of audit work papers and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of substantial experience in auditing, particularly with AEC clients.
  • Strong grasp of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $250,000 to $500,000+, commensurate with experience.
