Job Summary:

BAE Systems USA is seeking a skilled Network Support IV to join our team. As a Network Support IV, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for software, hardware, and network issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining a regular and predictable work schedule, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the department, and performing other duties as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer requests for assistance with computer software/hardware.
• Provide troubleshooting for software, installation of software.
• Troubleshoot networking issues – LAN and Wireless.
• Troubleshoot network and voice-related issues, repair personal computer and peripheral equipment problems to the board, device or component levels as appropriate.
• Receive equipment and conduct inventory.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Working Conditions:

This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor. Travel to various (assigned) Ball campuses to perform field work in customer-facing role.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 1 year or more related experience.
• Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of PC software and networking: classes and/or experience.
• Intermediate understanding of Desktop/Laptop PC Hardware and components.
• Intermediate to Advanced understanding of Windows 7 and 10 desktop operating systems.
• Advanced understanding of Windows Office 365 Pro Plus suite.
• Ability to support Apple iPhones.
• Experience with Service Now or other trouble ticketing tools.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate simultaneous tasks/projects.
• Ability to perform job functions with little direct supervision.
