Manufacturing Operator

Overview:
The American Phoenix Pre-weighed Chemical Packaging division operates across multiple strategic locations, specializing in the precise weighing and packaging of chemicals essential for rubber mixing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping bins by ensuring they are free of debris and properly positioned.
- Conduct initial weight checks on the first bag of each bin and document findings.
- Verify the accuracy of the code name on the first bag of each bin.
- Inspect bags for any foreign materials.
- Manage unused hoppers by securing the outlet chute with bags.
- Generate Chemical Setup Sheets at the beginning of each production run.
- Eliminate air from bags and ensure they are sealed correctly.
- Place sealed bags in the appropriate bins.
- Support the Lead Operator I during the setup of production runs.
- Address issues on the production line related to chemical weight discrepancies.
- Report recurring errors on the production line to the Lead Operator I or Supervisor/Scheduler.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Analyze and resolve work-related issues, utilizing risk management strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide assistance as needed.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Work Schedule:
12-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 pm, with rotating shifts every other weekend.

Work Environment:

- Successful completion of pre-employment testing is necessary.
