- Automation and Uplifts: Improve existing systems through automation and uplifts to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- 24/7 Emergency Support: Act as 24/7 emergency 2nd/3rd level support for products, restoring services as soon as possible in the event of downtime.
- Production Environment Management: Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
- Platform Infrastructure Management: Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
- Reliability and Quality Improvement: Improve the reliability and quality of products in our microservice architecture.
- System Performance Optimization: Measure and optimize system performance to push our capabilities forward and innovate for continual improvement.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or relevant experience, with at least 5 years' experience in a Site Reliability Engineering/Platform Engineering/DevOps role or similar.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Kubernetes and GCP cloud, software development experience in Golang, C++, or other modern programming languages, extensive knowledge of relational databases, file systems, and Linux, familiarity with monitoring tools and project tracking software, and proficiency in building/maintaining CI and CD pipelines.
