Position Overview
The Inventory Management Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient movement of products through the supply chain and into retail locations for their designated area.
This position involves formulating plans and strategies aimed at optimizing sales and inventory turnover, while directly managing a team of Inventory Analysts.
The Manager is responsible for training, developing, and mentoring team members, as well as supervising the onboarding process for new hires within the Inventory Management department.
As a vital contributor to the success of the Merchandising division, the Inventory Management Manager will engage in various cross-functional teams to advance the strategic objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and cultivate a team of Inventory Analysts.
  • Coordinate and manage the workflow of Inventory Analysts.
  • Evaluate and provide insights on merchandise allocations to meet daily and promotional requirements.
  • Collaborate with buyers to establish seasonal allocation and event planning strategies.
  • Facilitate training and development for Inventory Analysts.
  • Ensure balanced inventory levels across all distribution centers and retail locations.
  • Work closely with field teams to address merchandise concerns and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues.
Essential Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Merchandise Allocation and Replenishment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality while managing multiple objectives and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and email software.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with JDA retail enterprise allocation and replenishment software.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Additional significant experience in retail or operations.
