About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Manager to join our team at Kenworth Sales Co. in Chesapeake, VA. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, supervising employees, and driving sales and profit targets.

Responsibilities

  • Merchandise the parts inventory to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Supervise Parts Department employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Control the Parts Department inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Train and develop Parts Department employees, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Review and analyze performance results, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Develop and implement plans and programs to meet Company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other functional and staff managers to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • At least five years of successful management experience, preferably in a parts or inventory management role.
  • Thorough understanding of parts and inventory management, with a focus on medium and heavy-duty trucks.
