The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. This individual should be capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively, while maintaining a positive demeanor.

  • Collaborate with producers to manage expirations and gather renewal or new business information.
  • Maintain and update expiration lists.
  • Assist in marketing efforts for new and renewal business by preparing applications, proposals, and summaries.
  • Keep underwriting and marketing information organized by carrier.
  • Review new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, coverage, limits, etc., ensuring timely delivery to clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone or email, addressing requests or referring to producers as necessary.
  • Prepare necessary documentation such as ID cards, certificates, and binders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for all premium-bearing transactions.
  • Maintain a follow-up system for outstanding orders, correspondence, and reports.
  • Adhere to agency E&O guidelines and policies in managing accounts within the agency management system.
  • Perform additional office duties as assigned by management.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with Commercial Lines Insurance policies.
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Strong work ethic characterized by timely follow-up, teamwork, proactivity, attention to detail, and reliability.
