Oversee and guide team performance, ensuring effective job execution and cross-training opportunities. Collaborate with the Controller during the monthly financial close process, generating associated financial and operational reports, as well as participating in the annual budget assessment. Engage with various departments to verify the accuracy of expenses and financial reporting; conduct cost analysis and support evaluations for agricultural products and raw materials. Execute monthly closures for agricultural financial statements, budget reports, and month-end reconciliations. Prepare comprehensive account reconciliations and conduct inventory cycle assessments. Deliver precise and timely reports for management, offering financial and operational analytical support. Assist in managing contracts and general procurement for the farm. Maintain capital accounts, documentation, and reporting standards. Ensure prompt and accurate vendor payments along with appropriate general ledger coding. Supervise cash flow and accounts receivable collections; manage the credit application verification process. Uphold compliance with GMP/HACCP and safety regulations; participate in or lead safety meetings as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in general accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger), ideally within the manufacturing or agricultural sectors.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous.
- Highly organized with proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting software.
