Senior Cost Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting by analyzing costs, preparing budgets, and providing insightful recommendations to management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive cost analysis across various departments and operations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analyses and budget forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost savings opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in accounting, coupled with proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Cost Accountant.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Compensation & Benefits:

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.

Salary Range estimated for the Senior Cost Accountant: $84,800 - $108,700 USD.
