Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for managing administrative tasks in every area of HR, including recruiting, supporting employees, and employee training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all HR administration tasks such as: HRIS input and updates; recruiting; onboarding & offboarding; employee support; safety; leave support; auditing data; updating processes for the business
- Administer and implement safety programs, training, and reporting
- Administer and support all leave and ADA requests
- Ensure all HR-related policies, procedures, and processes are accurate and up-to-date
- Responsible for employee communication, benefit overview, and marketing on all HR programs
- Work effectively with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings, and with diverse stakeholders internally and externally
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure data privacy and security
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement employee engagement and retention programs
- Assist with related projects or HR initiatives, as needed
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or 2+ years of related experience in Human Resources
- Use of strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to provide guidance and support to managers and employees
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
