About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at Maximus. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients, providing them with accurate and timely information about their healthcare plans.

As a representative of Maximus, you will be the face of our company, and your interactions with clients will be the foundation of our reputation. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives and are committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to clients via phone, email, and web chat
  • Answer routine and basic inquiries and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Use computerized systems to track and gather information, and troubleshoot issues
  • Provide feedback and input on call trends, processes, and procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff
  • Follow policies and standard operating procedures, including filling out timesheets and adhering to privacy and HIPAA rules
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience
  • Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Ability to work within established turnaround times
  • Must participate and certify in internal CCO training to begin this role
