Position Overview: Lead Mortgage Financing Specialist

Department: Mortgage Financing

Role Summary:
The Lead Mortgage Financing Specialist actively seeks new residential mortgage opportunities and promotes The Ladders' mortgage offerings. This position is responsible for cultivating and sustaining relationships with referral partners, conducting interviews with potential borrowers, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations. The role includes external business development and application management.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of proven experience as a successful Mortgage Financing Specialist
  • Documented success in achieving mortgage loan funding targets
  • Thorough understanding of mortgage processing and underwriting procedures
  • Familiarity with lending guidelines and regulatory compliance
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
Interpersonal Attributes:
  • Exemplary courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are critical for this role
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and utilize hands
  • Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or bend
