Job Overview

The Airflow Operator plays a crucial role in conducting airflow assessments and managing tasks associated with the functionality of turbine engine components.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute airflow evaluations on turbine engine components according to operational guidelines.
  • Verify the serial number of each component and document it accurately.
  • Position the component onto the airflow apparatus; operate the machinery and analyze the results.
  • Ensure components comply with established specifications; report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Achieve quality and productivity standards in alignment with company expectations.
  • Complete all paperwork related to the airflow testing process with precision.
  • Adhere to best practices in machining and operations consistently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and tools, and keep operator maintenance logs updated.
  • Proactively address process or system-related issues and collaborate with team members or other departments as needed.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental protocols.
  • May be tasked with additional responsibilities within the scope of this job description to support departmental goals and enhance personal skills.
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Ability to work with ITAR-related data without restrictions.
  • Willingness to learn and thrive in a manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Basic understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
