Manufacturing Process Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Technician to join our team at Connecticut Spring & Stamping. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing documentation, procedures, and systems to improve quality, cost, and lead-time of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project estimates and review project contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide backup support to the project manager for metal stamping and four-slide programs.
- Resolve issues on specific projects and communicate with management as directed.
- Recommend cellular manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with program managers to oversee and coordinate outsource activities, including tooling, wire, heat-treat, design, and build.
- Work with the director of engineering to oversee and coordinate outsource activities for tooling samples, heat-treat, plate, and other related tasks.
- Update and correct job travelers for operation changes and additions.
- Print quotes for processing and engineering managers as received from the quote department.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or a manufacturing degree.
- Ability to read blueprints and analyze their feasibility for manufacturing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, ISO quality standards, and statistical process control.
- CAD literacy and proficiency in creating visual work instructions.
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and task-driven work ethic.
