Sales Engineer

InvestCloud is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to partner with leading financial services organizations and drive digital transformation. As a key member of our business development team, you will work closely with clients and prospects to uncover their most pressing business challenges and demonstrate the value of our platform.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients and prospects to understand their business needs and shape solutions to address their most urgent challenges.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to position InvestCloud as a leading software solution in the industry.
- Drive the discovery process with prospective clients through expertise in financial markets, technology, and design.
- Present the InvestCloud story with empathy and passion to a wide range of financial services firms.
- Oversee and guide digital agency consultative exercises to bring each client's unique story to life through digital design and comprehensive functional documentation.
- Collaborate with the product team to drive platform and app innovation.
- Achieve/exceed sales objectives through the expansion and growth of business relationships with new clients using a consultative and process-driven approach.
- Facilitate client meetings and provide thought leadership on digital experiences for clients and advisors.
- Solid understanding of the financial technology landscape, including client experience, client management, reporting, portfolio management, order management, risk, and accounting.
- Ideal 3+ years' experience in the financial services or consulting industry, driving digital transformation with experience in client service.
- Entrepreneurial drive to build new client relationships and be a self-starter.
- Experience building credibility and relationships with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and use a systematic approach to gain resolution.
- Experience working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams to formulate digital solutions for clients.
- Proactive approach to sales with both the ability to lead as well as work within large and small teams.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deliverable deadlines.
- Superior presentation, business writing, and oral communication skills.
- Technical solution expertise.
- College/University degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. Salary range: $80,000 - $150,000
