Position Summary:

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team providing family-oriented services tailored to meet the unique needs of children. Your role will involve engaging with families through a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions, collaborating with specialists who excel in various aspects of child development, including physical, cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive skills. This position focuses on early intervention for children aged 0-3.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. Options for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Fee-for-Service are available.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Physical Therapy License in Massachusetts.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.
  • Compliance with DPH standards is necessary.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is essential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with families to assess each child's strengths and developmental requirements.
  • Co-create an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) tailored to each child.
  • Work alongside a transdisciplinary team to plan and deliver effective services.
  • Manage case oversight and referrals for your assigned clients.
  • Conduct home visits to offer developmental support, parent education, and training.
  • Facilitate group sessions for parents and children.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure consistent communication with healthcare providers, clinics, and community organizations involved in each child's care.
  • Provide parents with essential information to help them make informed decisions regarding their child's development.
  • This position allows for the flexibility to design your own schedule for family visits.
