Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our Trio Community Meals team in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring the highest level of customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations and state and city traffic laws.

Conduct thorough inspections of company equipment before and after each trip to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Maintain open communication with dispatch to ensure timely notification of any issues or delays on the route.

Requirements:

Valid state driver's license.

Acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of experience driving commercially.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay rate is $17/hr. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and voluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity, as well as a discount program, commuter benefits, EAP, 401k, sick time, holiday pay, and tuition reimbursement for full-time employees.
