Position Overview

As a Residential Cleaning Specialist, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of cleaning tasks in resident units, communal areas, and support spaces, ensuring that we consistently meet the quality expectations set by Provision Living Associates, LLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and thorough cleaning of all designated areas, furnishings, and fixtures as per the established cleaning schedule.
  • Perform sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in all assigned spaces, including resident apartments, restrooms, utility rooms, common areas, nursing stations, and dining facilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchens and restrooms by cleaning countertops and regularly defrosting refrigerators in resident units.
  • Dust furniture, baseboards, window blinds, and entryways to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Handle bed linens by removing, laundering, and replacing them with fresh linens, ensuring all towels and bath linens are also cleaned and returned to residents.
  • Dispose of waste and trash in accordance with sanitation protocols.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or potential hazards by completing work orders.
  • Utilize and store cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively, assisting with bio-hazard clean-up as needed.
  • Adhere to universal precautions and maintain confidentiality regarding resident information.
  • Complete necessary reports and logs as per facility policies.
  • Communicate any changes in resident status to the appropriate staff members.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not involve supervisory duties.

Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Skills and Experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with team members.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality customer service and hospitality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and attention to detail.
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability for achieving results.
  • Dependable with a solid work ethic.
  • Appreciation for seniors and an understanding of the aging process.
Travel Requirements

No travel is required for this position.

Physical Requirements

This role may involve working with residents who may display challenging behaviors. The physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, using hands for handling and feeling, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasional crouching and lifting of items up to 50lbs may be necessary. Vision capabilities should include the ability to see both near and far distances.
