Position Overview

As a Residential Cleaning Specialist, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing general cleaning tasks in resident units, public spaces, and support areas, ensuring that all work meets the high-quality standards set by Provision Living Associates, LLC.

Key Responsibilities

As a Residential Cleaning Specialist, your essential duties will include:

  • Conducting routine and thorough deep cleaning of all designated areas, furnishings, and fixtures according to the established cleaning schedule.
  • Cleaning floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in various locations, including resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, and kitchens.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in kitchens and restrooms by sanitizing countertops and regularly defrosting refrigerators in resident units.
  • Dusting furniture, baseboards, and window treatments to ensure a tidy environment.
  • Changing bed linens, laundering them, and returning fresh linens to residents' units.
  • Properly disposing of waste and trash in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards for prompt resolution.
  • Utilizing cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively, assisting with bio-hazard clean-up as necessary.
  • Adhering to universal precautions and maintaining confidentiality regarding resident information.
  • Completing necessary reports related to incidents and infection control as per facility policies.
  • Communicating any changes in resident conditions to the appropriate staff members.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Supervisory Role

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Skills and Experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-driven with a commitment to achieving results.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding and appreciation for the senior population and their needs.
Travel Requirements

No travel is necessary for this position.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to manage various physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50lbs, standing, walking, and performing cleaning duties. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to fulfill essential job functions.
