Position Overview
As a Public Areas Cleaning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the public spaces within the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center. Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and public bathrooms
  • Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard surface floors
  • Efficiently sorting recyclables and managing waste disposal
  • Engaging in effective communication with supervisors and team members using a personal radio

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must be enrolled as a student at Michigan State University during the academic year. Availability to work weekends and evenings is essential.

Preferred Skills:
It is advantageous to have availability during the early part of the week (Monday and Tuesday).
