Internship Program Overview

The Global Human Resources Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship that will familiarize you with Bank of America and the GHR division. Our aim for summer interns is to enhance their academic background—specifically in technical skills, industry knowledge, and corporate environment familiarity—while aligning their career paths with their interests and qualifications.

Your training and development are our top priorities, with extensive formal training provided at the program's outset, complemented by on-the-job support, events, and mentorship throughout. Opportunities include, but are not limited to:

A Day in the Life

GHR internships span 10 weeks and align our human capital strategy with business objectives, enabling the company to connect with customers and clients by attracting, developing, and retaining a world-class workforce to drive growth at Bank of America. As a Summer Analyst, you will be assigned to a specific team where your primary responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting business lines and Global Human Resources initiatives that foster a positive work environment for all employees.
  • Engaging with senior HR leaders to gain insights into how HR influences key business decisions and acts as a strategic partner throughout the organization.
  • Contributing to business advisory, operational processes, HR functions, and special projects.

GHR Internship Opportunities

The GHR Program places interns within various teams across the business lines. Internship roles may include positions such as:

Enterprise Compensation Analyst, Diversity & Inclusion Analyst, Project Analyst, Employee Relations Analyst, Talent Acquisition Analyst, and Academy Program Design Analyst.

*Intern team assignments are determined based on business needs and aligned with individual skill sets, thus cannot be guaranteed.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution, with an expected graduation date between November 2025 and August 2026.
  • Preferred fields of study include Business, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Industrial and Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a strong intellectual curiosity, a commitment to operational excellence, and a focus on achieving sustainable results.
  • Students should possess strong academic and technical skills in Microsoft Office, along with demonstrated abilities in leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical thinking, verbal and written communication, and professionalism.
