F-35 Cybersecurity Systems Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a specialist in cyber operations, you recognize the significance of proactive engagement in cyberspace, understanding that success often lies in the nuanced areas of conflict. In this position, you will be responsible for comprehending cyberspace capabilities to assess potential vulnerabilities and the efficacy of cybersecurity measures. You will utilize cyberspace operations systems to consolidate threat intelligence that informs strategic briefings for senior leadership, aligned with the development and maintenance of fighter capabilities.

This role offers you the chance to apply your analytical and research skills to effectively evaluate and advise operators and senior leaders on evolving adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures relevant to high-stakes operations. Your contributions will be crucial in formulating operational plans that support command and control initiatives.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in orchestrating and executing technical initiatives within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in identifying technical deficiencies, proposing solutions, and developing strategic technical roadmaps or acquisition plans.
  • Experience in formulating, evaluating, or executing Department of Defense capability requirements, particularly in cybersecurity and resilience.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition protocols and policies.
  • Understanding of Department of Defense cyber regulations.
  • Knowledge of military avionics systems, microelectronics, software design attributes, electromagnetic spectrum considerations, modeling and simulation, Agile software development, and data analytics, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree.

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the Airworthiness certification process for military aircraft.
  • Background in implementing cyber strategies and policies within a Department of Defense acquisition framework.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively across various levels of Joint Program Office and prime contractor organizations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Aptitude for reconciling conflicting perspectives and information.

Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security evaluation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
