Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Information Assurance Security Engineer (Air Systems), you will deliver expert knowledge in information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to support advanced military aircraft programs.
Your impact will include:
1. Conducting information system security engineering activities.
2. Developing and refining security requirements for Aircraft Systems and Ground Support, ensuring effective integration into the overall architecture.
3. Implementing best practices in security requirements within the F-35 Air System, focusing on secure design and architecture.
4. Providing daily support in Cybersecurity engineering, overseeing all related deliverables, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
5. Managing resources and providing guidance to team members while supporting various Air System initiatives.
Qualifications:
Security Clearance Level:
Active TS/SCI
Required Experience:
10 years in designing and developing organizational information systems or upgrading legacy systems, with a focus on security controls.
8+ years of airframe/weapon system security experience, including secure network design and implementation.
5 years of experience as a security engineer on weapons systems platforms.
8 years of experience in system security Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and Vulnerability Assessment.
Required Certifications:
DoD Manual Security Control Accessor - Advanced.
Education:
MS/MA/BS/BA Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Work Environment:
Hybrid model, combining onsite and remote work.
