Job Title: Regional Security Operations Manager

Unifi Security LLC is seeking a highly skilled Regional Security Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our security teams in the Southeast region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of security and customer service at our client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the performance of all screening and physical security functions at locations
  • Oversee daily operations at assigned sites, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures
  • Manage customer service, operational, and financial metrics to achieve goals
  • Establish and manage performance of direct reports, and others through coaching, development, and adherence to DGS/Unifi performance management processes
  • Build effective partnerships with customers, clients, vendors, and business partners
  • Review and analyze metrics and reports to inform business decisions
  • Ensure the fiscal health of the security operations, preparing reports as required by Director and Unifi leadership
  • Enforce all Security policies and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Responsible and accountable for driving consistent compliance to all Unifi corporate policy
  • Communicate information in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner
  • Coordinate contract negotiations with Customers, Operations, Legal, and other support departments
  • Research activities relating to new/existing business development
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with clients, prospective clients, and trade organizations to explain services offered by Unifi
  • Solicit feedback from clients and set goals for areas of improvement in service levels
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Security principles and practices is preferred
  • Knowledge of security access controls and badging, security operations center, and fingerprinting systems preferred
  • Must demonstrate professional/ethical behavior in all roles, tasks, and responsibilities
  • Must be able to supervise, coach, or commend staff
  • Must be able to enforce rules and regulations as required by the client
  • Must be able to write incident reports
  • Must be able to work well with people of various backgrounds and all levels of management
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, and maintain confidentiality
  • Have excellent computer skills with at least a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of law enforcement, military, or security supervisory/management experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Work Environment:

Work Schedule: Location: Atlanta, GA Travel: The position requires up to 25% to 35% travel with some overnight stays. You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Work Environment: Must be able to be alerted to moving vehicles and use radio equipment. Employees work inside the Delta Air Line corporate offices. Utilizes a personal computer. May sit for long periods. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature, and light fluctuations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be located in a semi-private area. A majority of the day is spent performing administrative tasks and overseeing site locations. Occasionally visits assigned sites and may be exposed to outside weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands/Requirements: Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods. Sense of Sound/Hearing – Must be able to communicate by radio, phone, and other devices.

The incumbent is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
