Procurement Specialist

HF Sinclair is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for facilitating an organized and collaborative approach to leveraging targeted spend across our locations with selected suppliers.
Key ResponsibilitiesSome of your key responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their strategic and tactical business needs and goals
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for consolidation and optimization
- Soliciting bids for procurement agreements and projects, and preparing RFx and managing sourcing events
- Discussing proposed suppliers with requisitioners, investigating to determine actual needs, and participating in supplier qualification and performance audits
- Negotiating terms and conditions, hourly labor/equipment rates, mark-ups, and price with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes for the company
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 4 years related experience in procurement, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, finance, or operations management
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Advanced reading and writing skills, with a proven history of navigating complex negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
