Job Title: Administrative Manager

At Husson University, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Manager to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional support to our faculty, staff, and students.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Manager will be responsible for performing a range of administrative support duties, including general clerical tasks, complex organizational coordination, and providing overall support for the Division of Online and Distance Education and the College of Health and Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage calendars and meetings for the Associate Provost/Interim Dean and program Chairs
  • Coordinate student success initiatives related to enrollment, advising, and curriculum sheet audits
  • Assist with budget planning, and processes purchase orders, travel expense requests, and requests for payment
  • Act as the manager of time card approval and supervise work study students and graduate assistants
  • Prepare spreadsheets for overloads, stipends, and guest speakers
  • Develop and encourage a collaborative atmosphere with a professional and positive attitude
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Professional and database management
  • Excellent communication skills and effective organizational and supervisory skills exercised with confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, AS degree required with documentation of related experience
Working Conditions:

The work environment is quiet, with frequent interruptions from telephone calls and visitors. The ideal candidate should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
