Human Resource Analyst 1 – HR CBC/CDL Consultant
This role is responsible for maintaining the flow of pre-employment checks and CDL drug and alcohol testing to ensure employee and public safety. The successful candidate will resolve any issues related to these areas for the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Department of Aviation.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and review information from third-party vendors related to CBC, education verification, and pre-employment drug testing.
- Track and ensure completion of all checks and compliance with regulations.
- Notify hiring managers and administrative staff of candidate eligibility.
- Provide CBC information to review committees.
- Coordinate resolution of issues with CDL Drug and Alcohol Program testing participants.
- Research and complete CDL release forms.
- Act as primary point of contact for CBC questions and requests.
- Order background checks through a third-party vendor and monitor database for candidate responses.
- Process fingerprint information and maintain CJIS clearance.

Three years of human resource paraprofessional or technical-level experience, or a bachelor's degree in human resource management, organizational behavior, or a related field.
Valid certification as a Professional in Human Resource or a related field may be substituted for experience.
Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
