Academic Interventionist Opportunity

As a part-time Academic Interventionist at Holy Family Cristo Rey High School in Birmingham, AL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring program success. Key responsibilities include delivering designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students. You will also develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans, ensure student supervision, and establish and maintain student forms and files as required. Additionally, you will attend and document conferences/meetings/trainings with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents. Maintaining inventory of educational materials and supplies is also essential. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree, a Math Teaching certificate for Alabama, and 8th-10th grade Math teaching experience. Experience in SAT/ACT prep and ability to use scripted curriculum to instruct students are also highly valued. You must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers, be flexible, and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
